To wrap up this week of catch-up from our trip to Spain, we wanted to share some random photos, either taken on the road or in various small towns we briefly popped in.
San Sebastian
San Sebastian is known for its amazing food, beaches, and gorgeous vistas, and we definitely experienced all that and more.
Flysch
About an hour from where we were staying, we got a chance to see some very cool rock formations called flysch. We hiked on beautiful cliffs overlooking the ocean and spent several hours climbing the flysch. Kai said it was by far his favorite day in Spain.
Balmaseda
Balmaseda is a one of the many cute little towns in the vicinity of Bilbao. It just happened to have a huge and awesome castle playground.
Bilbao
We loved our visits to Bilbao – the Guggenheim Museum, Casco Viejo (Old Town), all the amazing food…a truly incredible city.
Guenes
Here are some photos from our adventures in Guenes, the small town we stayed in during the bulk of our time in Spain. It’s a charming little town just 30 minutes outside of Bilbao.
